Creativity, like all forms of progress, doesn’t just happen. It needs to be cultivated and developed. And it requires a certain way of looking at the process and results.
Despite being an undervalued skill just a couple of decades ago, creativity is finally being taken seriously. The World Economic Forum and LinkedIn report that it’s one of the most in-demand skills. As biologist and writer Peter Medawar has said, analyzing the creative process extends beyond any accepted discipline. And: “That ‘creativity is beyond analysis’ is a romantic illusion we must now outgrow.”
